Payout timing
Last updated: July 5, 2026
Rather than waiting until your event is over, Stripe starts a payout as soon as you sell a ticket. The funds typically reach your bank 3-6 business days later.
Payout schedule
Warning: Your first payout from Stripe will take longer than a standard payout. There's a 7-14 day waiting period for the first payout.
Standard payouts arrive on Stripe's schedule, which can take 3-6 business days from the date of the sale. For example:
- Monday: You sell $20 in tickets
- Wednesday (2 business days): Stripe releases the funds for transfer
- Thursday-Friday (1-2 business days): Your bank processes the funds and releases them to your account
Instant payouts may be available upon request if you need funds faster than that.
Multiple events
Payouts include all sales on your account, so a single payout may cover multiple events. To see payout totals for a specific event, check that event's Orders tab on the producer dashboard.
Delayed or missing payouts
A few issues may delay your payouts:
- This is your first payout: Your first payout from Stripe takes up to 7-14 business days due to a waiting period imposed by Stripe.
- Payouts are paused: If you see a Payouts are paused banner on the producer dashboard, Stripe has held payouts until they receive more information from you. Select Resolve in Stripe and provide what Stripe asks for. Once processed by Stripe, payouts resume automatically. In the meantime, you can still sell tickets.
- Something else: There may be an issue with your bank account if the above scenarios don't apply. Stripe offers support for these more complex issues.
