TicketPill is a program of Sugarpill LLC. This policy explains what information we collect when you use TicketPill, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
The short version: we collect what we need to run and improve TicketPill, the Producer of an event you buy for receives the details they need to run it, and we do not sell your personal information.
This policy applies to anyone who uses TicketPill, whether you're buying a ticket, attending on a ticket someone else bought, selling tickets as a Producer, or browsing.
If someone buys a ticket for you, or a Producer adds you to a guest list, we receive the name and contact details they provide.
Payments are processed by our payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card number.
We look at activity across TicketPill to understand our audience and grow the platform. That can include building a picture of how you use TicketPill over time, for example how many events you have attended or how many Producers you have bought from, and grouping or tagging accounts internally on that basis, such as identifying frequent buyers. We base this on activity on TicketPill and the information you or others give us. We do not track you across other websites to do it.
Every event on TicketPill is run by an independent Producer, and the Producer is the seller of your ticket. When you buy a ticket or are added to a guest list, the Producer of that event receives information about your order, including your name and contact details, the names and contact details of attendees on your order, what you bought, check-in status, and how you found the event.
Producers use this to run their events and contact ticket holders, and they handle it under their own practices as well as our Terms of Service, which limit how they may use it. We may also give Producers summarized insights about their audience.
We share personal information only as described in this policy:
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
These are the service providers that currently process personal information for TicketPill, and what each one does for us. We update this list when we add or remove a provider, and the "Last updated" date at the top shows when the policy last changed.
We and our service providers use cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, keep the site secure, prevent fraud (including by our payment processor at checkout), and understand how the site is used and how it performs.
We do not use these technologies for advertising, or to track you across other websites.
Emails we send may include standard analytics, such as open and click tracking.
Our practices do not change in response to browser Do Not Track signals, though some features may respect them.
You can contact us at any time to ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. You can unsubscribe from optional emails from the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email; we will still send messages about your orders and account. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.
To make a request, email us at support@ticketpill.com. We will respond within the time the law requires, and promptly in any case. We may need to verify your identity first, and some information may need to be kept for the reasons described below.
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide TicketPill, meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements. If you ask us to delete your information, we will delete or de-identify what we are not required or permitted to keep.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
You must meet the age requirements in our Terms of Service to use TicketPill. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy as TicketPill changes. When we make a material change, we post the updated policy on this page and the "Last updated" date at the top changes to show it. Continued use of TicketPill after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
