Issue a refund
Last updated: July 10, 2026
You can issue a refund from the Orders section of your event dashboard.
Warning: The buyer receives a full refund, but Stripe doesn't return payment processing fees. That comes out of your Stripe balance. You do not pay TicketPill fees on refunded orders.
Issue a refund
- From the event dashboard, open the Sales tab.
- Under Orders, select the order you'd like to refund.
- Either select Refund on an individual ticket or add-on row, or Refund entire order on an order row.
- Add an optional reason and confirm.
Cancelling a refunded ticket
By default, refunding a ticket cancels it so it can't be used at check-in. When refunding, you have the option to keep the ticket active instead. You can reactivate a cancelled ticket, but refunds are non-reversible.
How refunds appear in your Sales tab
The revenue totals and tickets sold count on our event dashboard's Sales tab do not include refunded tickets. These figures will always represent your true revenue and capacity totals.
