Create a discount code

You can create discount codes from your event's Discounts tab on the producer dashboard.

Choose a discount type

• Percentage off: A percent off the entire order.
• Fixed amount per ticket: A dollar amount off each ticket in the cart.
• Fixed amount per order: A flat dollar amount off the entire order.
• Free ticket(s): Allows the attendee to collect a free ticket.

Limit a code

Two optional limits apply to every discount type:

• Usage limit: The total number of times the code can be used. Leave it blank for unlimited.
• Expiration date: The code stops working after this date. Leave it blank if you don't want it to expire.

For free ticket codes, check Valid for ticket types to restrict it to specific ticket types. Leave every box unchecked to let it apply to any ticket.

Deactivate or activate a code

Every code shows its usage count and status on the Discounts tab. Select Deactivate to turn a code off immediately, or Activate to turn it back on.

If a code won't save

• A code with that name already exists for this event: Pick a different name. Each code name must be unique within your event.
• Invalid name: Use only letters, numbers, and hyphens, up to 20 characters.
